Welcome to Homelette! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform and services.
By using our website, creating an account, or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Overview of Services
Homelette connects clients with independent home cooks (“Homelette Cooks”) who prepare meals in the
client’s own kitchen using ingredients provided by the client. Homelette acts as a facilitator, not the employer
of the cooks.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using Homelette, you confirm that all information
you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Booking a Cook

  • You agree to provide safe, clean kitchen facilities and the necessary ingredients for meal preparation.
  • Bookings must be made through the official Homelette platform.
  • Payment is due at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • You may cancel a booking up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours may not be eligible for a refund unless in exceptional cases.
  • If a cook is unable to attend, we will attempt to reassign the job or issue a full refund.

5. Responsibilities
Client Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, hygienic environment.
  • Supply fresh ingredients as agreed upon.
  • Treat cooks with respect and professionalism.

Homelette Cooks:

  • Will arrive on time, follow hygiene practices, and cook meals as per the client’s request.

6. Liability Disclaimer
Homelette is not liable for:

  • Food allergies, injuries, or illnesses arising from meals prepared using your ingredients.
  • Any damage or loss in your kitchen during the service (unless caused intentionally or by negligence).
  • Actions of individual cooks beyond their professional responsibilities.

7. Code of Conduct
Both clients and cooks are expected to maintain a respectful and safe environment. Any harassment,
discrimination, or inappropriate behavior may lead to removal from the platform.

8. Privacy & Data Use
By using Homelette, you consent to our Privacy Policy and the use of your information as outlined there.

9. Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes means you
accept the updated Terms.

Cook/Partner Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Homelette. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the expectations, responsibilities, and
legal agreement between Homelette and you, the independent cook (“Homelette Cook” or “Service
Provider”).

By registering as a Homelette Cook, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Nature of Relationship

  • You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Homelette or KitchenMade Corp.
  • You are free to accept or decline any job offered to you via the Homelette platform.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes, transportation, and insurance.

2. Eligibility & Verification
To join Homelette, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have legal authorization to work in Canada
  • Provide valid ID, background check, and complete onboarding and safety training

3. Your Responsibilities
As a Homelette Cook, you agree to:

  • Prepare meals in clients’ kitchens with professionalism, care, and cleanliness
  • Maintain high hygiene standards and follow any dietary or cultural requirements agreed upon
  • Respect the client’s home and property
  • Refrain from using or taking any ingredient or item not supplied for the job

4. Payment Terms

  • You will be paid per job, based on the rates displayed at the time of booking.
  • Payments will be processed weekly or biweekly via the method you select.
  • Homelette retains a service fee from each completed booking.

5. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • You must give at least 24 hours’ notice if unable to attend a scheduled job.
  • Frequent last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Always maintain respectful and professional behavior.
  • Discrimination, harassment, or misconduct of any kind will result in immediate removal from the platform.
  • You must not accept payments outside of the Homelette platform

7. Liability & Insurance

  • You are responsible for your own conduct and actions while providing services.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Homelette from any damages, claims, or losses arising from your
    service.
  • You are encouraged to carry personal liability insurance.

8. Termination
Homelette reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform for:

  • Violations of these Terms
  • Unsafe, unprofessional, or unethical behavior
  • Breach of client trust or misuse of client property

9. Confidentiality
All client information must remain confidential. You may not disclose, store, or use personal information
shared with you outside the scope of providing service
